Frank Scully has been painting over 50 years, having attended Anna’ Art School at Paddington in the 70s.

He describes himself as “self-taught” and his style as “naïve artist” who is proud to have some paintings he painted when he was a mere lad of 8-9 years old.

He always paints in oil and his subject matters range from landscapes to bowls of fruit, still life and, reflecting his background, religious images.

He has first visited Braidwood in 1988 and came from the North Shores in Sydney to settle in Braidwood in 2000.

He held his first solo exhibition of 23 paintings in Bungendore, NSW, in March 2006, with great success.
