Braidwood Regional Youth Art Awards
The Braidwood Regional Youth Art Awards, as a significant commitment to promoting the Arts in our region, is a non-acquisitive Art Award, which has been made possible by funds donated from the Braidwood & Bungendore Community Bank. The organization, administration & promotion of the Youth Art Awards has also been made possible by the volunteer members of the Braidwood Regional Arts Group.
The Braidwood Regional Youth Art Awards are divided into three main age categories with a total Prize pool of $8350 - [$5500 in cash & $2850 in goods & services]. Each participant may submit up to two entries, on any theme and in any medium.
When: The Opening night and Awards presentation will be held on the evening of Friday 29th September. The exhibition will be held during the Spring School Holidays September 29 – October 8.
Where: The venue for the Awards presentation and the exhibition will be the Braidwood Community Arts Centre Gallery, 45 Wallace Street, Braidwood.
Eligibility to enter: The Youth Art Awards is open to youth from both the Braidwood & Bungendore regions (2621 and 2622 postcode area). Participants must be aged 13 - 25 years on the day they submit their entry or entries.
Submission days: Saturday 23 & Sunday 24 September, 10am – 3pm at the Braidwood Community Arts Centre, 45 Wallace Street, Braidwood. Participants will be asked to submit and pay for their entry/entries ($15 per entry), and fill out a registration form.
