Michael Gill is one of those creatures known as “designer-makers”. He has spent most of his life torturing paper, color, wood, glass, metal, letters, silver bromide and, most recently the stage, in an effort to make something beautiful. Michael’s teaching abilities verge on the acceptable, his radio work is embarrassing, his singing voice is a provocation to dogs, his ethnicity is frankly a matter of police concern and his harmonica playing outlawed by the Geneva Convention. Michael sometimes grows an odd little moustache called Sue, but insists that he is anything but perfect.
