The Fabulous Ssnakebyte Brothers Aussie Bush Band for all occasions!
The player Bill is a Regional Consultant for the Department of Education and Communities and is also a talented entertainer with well over thirty years experience as an amateur and professional actor, a sound engineer and a musician. Now hailing from the Braidwood area he is the front man and dance caller for the Fabulous Ssnakebyte Brothers Bush Band.
The Music An eclectic mix of material range from 18th and 19th century Irish tunes and songs through to the material of Elvis, Bryan Adams, Van Morrison, Slim Dusty and traditional Aussie bush Ballads. The dances, of course, are all the old favourite bush dances.
The band The band plays (at various times) acoustic guitar, banjo, electric guitar, fiddle, double bass, accordion and keyboard as well as utilising computer- aided sequencing of bass, drums and other instruments. The sound is big and full and sounds more like a four piece than a two piece band. The P.A. system used by the band is supplied by Ssnakebyte Ssound and is of good clean quality and has the “grunt” to fill your venue.
