In November each year, the historic town of Braidwood becomes a
mecca for quilters and tourists alike as it hosts its
Quilt
Event and the famous
"Airing of the Quilts",
a self funded festival organised by the Braidwood Quilters Inc.
Braidwood becomes a stage displaying the beauty of the art of
quilting through a two day indoor exhibition and the quilts
displayed in the open air or shop windows throughout Wallace
street.
