
BRAG ARTS WEEKEND EVENT OFFER FOR 2025/26
The Braidwood Regional Arts Group (BRAG) warmly invites its members to apply for an exciting opportunity to host an arts-related event in the BRAG art centre for 12 weekends over 2025 and 2026. This initiative aims to support and showcase the creative talents of regional artists across visual, literary, performing, and applied arts.

TERMS AND CONDITIONS FOR EXPOSE 2025/26
DESCRIPTION OF OFFER
Braidwood Regional Arts Group (BRAG) is excited to offer its rooms at a reduced rate for people hosting arts-related events on select weekends in 2025 and 2026

Applications are managed by a subcommittee of the 2025 BRAG Committee.
Successful applicants will receive an offer for their chosen event dates. This offer is subject to the Terms and Conditions as described below. Accepting an offer indicates agreement to these Terms and Conditions, and the offer will only be valid once all necessary fees are paid and acceptance is confirmed.
EVENT DATES

The EXPOSE events are scheduled for 12 weekends from June 2025 to June 2026, occurring on the first weekend of each month and subject to prior bookings. This offer is exclusive to those dates, and room availability will depend on the type of event proposed and is only available one weekend per month.

ROOM AVAILABILITY
The BRAG Art Centre will be available for setup depending upon existing long-term tenancy commitments. Please specify your preferred days and times in your email. The Arts Centre can be accessed for setup starting Thursday at noon and must be vacated by Sunday evening.

ELIGIBILITY
The offer is available to any individual wishing to hold an arts-related event, including visual, literary, performing, or applied arts, and is subject to approval by the 2025 EXPOSE subcommittee. However, the applicant must be a member of BRAG.
If applicants are not current members of BRAG, then membership must be completed upon accepting an EXPOSE weekend offer.
If an applicant is between 18 and 25 and not a member of BRAG, the membership fee will be waived, and a complimentary membership will be offered. Applicants must be over the age of 18 years.​
APPLICATION PROCESS
All applications must be submitted via email to popups@bragart.com.au. This includes a brief biography and a description of the intended activity. Once your fee has been paid, please provide an image along with a description of your event. This will be used for
promotional purposes on the BRAG website, in the newsletter, and on Instagram. Individual participants are limited to one event in each calendar year.
Approval of the application is at the discretion of the 2025 Expose Sub-Committee.
FEES
The cost for an EXPOSE event is $50. If the applicant is not already a BRAG member, there is an additional membership fee of $40. If the applicant is aged between 18-25 the membership fee will be waived, and the applicant will receive a complimentary membership to BRAG for 1 year.
Payment must be made upon acceptance of an offer. Without payment, the offer will be void. Payment must be made through a bank transfer. Details will be provided in the event's letter of offer.
No commission is payable on any sales generated during the event.
Event refunds are at the discretion of the Sub-Committee.

PROMOTION AND ADVERTISING
The participant is responsible for all invitations, promotional materials, social media promotions, advertising and marketing.
The event will be advertised on the BRAG website, Instagram page, Facebook page and e-newsletter. Participants will be asked to provide at least one image for this purpose.
BAR AND ALCOHOL
BRAG has the exclusive right to provide alcohol at the bar for events held on Friday or Saturday nights. If an event is scheduled for Sunday, BRAG will not operate a bar.
If you prefer that no alcohol be available at your event on a Friday or Saturday night, please indicate this in your application.
Alternatively, participants can provide alcohol for their guests but may only do so without charge.
BRAG’s glasses and tables are available for this purpose.
THE SUCCESSFUL APPLICANT MUST ADHERE TO THE FOLLOWING STANDARD TERMS AND CONDITIONS OF HIRE OF THE BRAG ROOMS FOR THE DURATION OF THE EVENT.

• The hirer will be required to set up and remove their items, tools, and equipment. -
• The hirer must ensure all lights, fans, heaters, hot water, etc., are turned off after use, and that doors are securely locked after they leave the premises. -
• Equipment belonging to the Arts Centre is available for use by hirers at no extra charge. This includes tables, chairs, tablecloths, limited cutlery and crockery, glasses, as well as the use of kettle/urn/fridge/kitchen and toilet as required. -
• BRAG’s insurance arrangements do not cover items belonging to hirers against theft or damage. Visitors and unpaid volunteers of the BRAG Centre are protected under BRAG’s Public Liability Insurance. Invitations and promotional material are their responsibility of the hirer. -
• It is expected that the hirer will leave the premises clean and tidy, and advise of any problems in a timely manner. -
• Hirers are to consider that other activities may take place in the BRAG Centre during their hire period, in another area of the Centre. BRAG Centre Management will advise if the Centre will have other users during the hire period. -
• Sub-leasing will only be agreed to on a case-by-case basis. If agreed to, a sub-leasing disclaimer sign will be displayed by the Braidwood Community Arts Centre and a fee may be charged. -
• Normal options for Exhibition, Workshop/Other Events Hire and Fees are outlined on our Venue Hire page. Other options may be negotiated with the BRAG Centre Management.
